The world is full of wonder! Preschool 3-year-olds learned all about wonder this week followed by some exploration to deepen their understanding! The students found spider webs, spiders, ant hills, ant galleries in the tree bark and much more! It was a successful exploration!

We've had a great first month of PreSchool!
Our preschoolers are doing a fantastic job learning all our school routines!
We're also excited to announce that we're using a new curriculum this year called FrogStreet! Our teachers are doing a great job implementing it, with help from Fernando and Fanny the frogs. 🐸
Plus, we're thrilled to have our Forest Friday trips to Doane back! We are so thankful for this collaboration and for the chance to connect with nature every week. 🌳

The first and second graders at Crete Elementary were honored to learn about teamwork from one of our very own, Morgan Maly. Morgan was a 2020 graduate of Crete High School. After a successful basketball career at Creighton University, Morgan will be playing basketball in Greece.

We had such an exciting week at Crete Elementary as we welcomed our littlest learners—our amazing preschoolers! 🏫🍎 Starting school is a huge milestone for both students and families, and we're so thankful to the parents who have entrusted us with their children. 📣 Week 3 of Cardinal Summer was full of hands-on fun and creative learning!
🎓 In Enrichment, students became animal experts—researching, reading, and presenting their work Wax Museum-style. They also tackled STEM challenges inspired by storybooks!
🎉 In Cardinal Camps, students had a blast in sessions like Fun on the Farm 🚜, Legomania 🧱, Flower Frenzy 🌸, Scrapbooking ✂️, and Dash Robots 🤖!
