The CPS Foundation Teacher Grant program is designed to encourage teachers to provide unique educational opportunities for their students by thinking outside of the box. Any CPS educator, with the support of his/her principal, is eligible to apply for the grant dollars.
In 2022, over $32,000 teacher grant money was awarded to 23 teachers: two from the elementary, five from the intermediate, six from the middle school and 10 from the high school.
Teacher grants were presented by Marilea Thiem, Foundation director and Superintendent Dr. Josh McDowell, as well as CPS Foundation board members.
