As of March 14, 2025, we have used four full snow/weather days. Because students receive three “free” snow days, they now need to make up one instructional day. Please note that if the district must close school on additional dates, our plan may need to be revised.
After exploring multiple options to ensure the best student learning experience, we are converting a scheduled “no-school” day into an instructional day rather than adding all missed days at the end of May. This approach will help us maintain meaningful instructional time and engagement. Our seniors’ last day will also be adjusted to meet the instructional hours set by the Nebraska Department of Education.

April 22, 2025—Previously a no-school day, it is now a regular school day for all students and staff.

Due to the inclement weather, there will be no school for all students on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Wind gusts of 50+ miles per hour will continue through tomorrow morning, creating unsafe conditions for our buses and our young drivers. Please be safe, stay warm, and Go Cards!
Because of a change in schedule with the boy's district basketball final game, the Family Learning Night scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 has been postponed. We encourage you to cheer on the Cards at the high school that night. A new date and time for the Family Learning NIght will be shared soon.
Due to a High Wind Warning for Crete, Tue, 3/4/25, is an early dismissal day. Crete Elementary dismisses at 1:15 PM; Intermediate, Middle, and High Schools at 1:30 PM: No PM Preschool, afterschool activities, or CCLC. Check the website for more details.
