A High Wind Warning has been issued for the Crete area on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM. In response, please note the following changes to our school schedule:
Tuesday, March 4:
Crete Elementary dismisses at 1:15 PM
Crete Intermediate, Middle, and High Schools dismiss at 1:30 PM
No PM Preschool
No after-school activities or CCLC
With sustained winds of 35–45 miles per hour, gusts reaching 70+ miles per hour, and the possibility of poor visibility, these conditions create safety concerns for both bus transportation and teenage drivers.
